What You'll Do:
- Coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure accurate and timely completion of resident assessments
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and other payer program requirements
- Ensure MDS assessments accurately reflect each resident's physical, mental, and psychosocial status
- Verify appropriate documentation to support services provided
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration for accurate care planning and assessment completion
What You'll Need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Previous work experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- MDS 3.0 experience required.
- RAC-CT or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire and maintain recertification as required.
- Makes mature judgments, functions independently, is flexible, has personal integrity and works effectively with personnel.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
