How you will make an impact: 

Join our team as a Bus Driver and play a crucial role in the transportation services at Wittenberg Village. You will ensure that our residents are safely transported by planning efficient routes and providing door-to-door service, ensuring they are received safely by staff or family. You serve as an ambassador of Wittenberg Village by always acting courteously and professionally, enhancing the organization's reputation. Additionally, you assist our residents in getting into and out of the vehicle and communicate any special information, directions, or requests concerning the resident's needs to the team members or their families. 

Schedule: This position is on-call. 

What you will need: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
  • Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write legibly in English
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and operating manuals
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 1 year of bus driving experience required
  • Experience working with older adults preferred
