Bus Driver

Earn $18 to $20 an hour driving Monday-Friday, Part-time or PRN. Help older adults get safely between home and Cherished Place Adult Day Services in Arlington Heights. Apply in minutes and hear back within 48 hours.

Who you'll drive
Our participants live at home and spend their days with us at Cherished Place. You'll be the first friendly face they see each morning and the last one each afternoon. For many families, you're the reason their loved one can keep coming.

What you'll do

• Pick up participants at their homes in the morning and drive them home in the afternoon
• Help riders get in and out of the vehicle safely 
• Plan each day's route with the program team
• Hand each rider off to staff or family, and share any notes about their needs that day
• Check the vehicle before and after each route

What you'll need
Required:

• Age 21 or older
• Valid Illinois driver's license
• Able to pass a drug test and background check
• Able to read safety rules and directions in English, and talk clearly with riders and families

Preferred:

• Experience with older adults
• Experience driving a van, shuttle, or bus

Pay and benefits

• $18 to $20 per hour based on experience
• Daily Pay: access your earnings before payday 

Schedule (Monday-Friday)

• Part-Time, 7:30 to 10:30 am and 2 to 5 pm
• PRN, as needed
