What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily operations of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and generators
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Maintain building infrastructure including resident areas, common spaces, and exterior grounds
- Ensure compliance with life safety regulations (NFPA, CMS, OSHA, and state requirements)
- Coordinate safety programs, emergency preparedness, and regulatory inspections
- Supervise maintenance staff and provide leadership, training, and performance management
- Support Environment of Care (EOC) programs and safety committee initiatives
- Respond to building emergencies and support after-hours operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
- Minimum 5 years of building services or facilities management experience required
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or similar environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, life safety regulations, and compliance standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies
