How you will make an impact: 

Join our team as a Driver and play a crucial role in the transportation services at the Lutheran Home Skilled Nursing Facility. You will ensure that our residents are safely transported by planning efficient routes and providing door-to-door service, ensuring they are received safely by staff or family. You serve as an ambassador of the Lutheran Home by always acting courteously and professionally, enhancing the organization's reputation. Additionally, you assist our residents in getting into and out of the vehicle and communicate any special information, directions, or requests concerning the resident's needs to the team members or their families. 

Schedule: This is a full-time position with a split shift. Monday through Friday 7:30AM-11AM and 2PM-5PM. No nights, holidays or weekends.

What you will need: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • 1 year of bus driving experience required.
  • Experience working with older adults preferred.
