You will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and holistic care to The Lutheran Home residents, making a profound impact on their overall well-being. Through diligent assessment, monitoring, and personalized care planning, nurses ensure that residents receive the medical attention and support they need to thrive physically, emotionally, and mentally. Schedule Varies, FLEX PRN Program Requirements: 

  • Complete onboarding process  
  • Provide monthly availability to PRN Coordinator  
  • Scheduled unless notified of staffing surplus  
  • No impact on PRN status if days decrease due to staffing  
  • Failure to meet monthly minimum may result in probation or disciplinary action 
  • FLEX PRN-A: Commit to one to four 12-hour shifts/month 
  • FLEX PRN-B: Commit to five or more 12-hour shifts/month 

What you will need: 

  • Current Illinois RN license required. 
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures. 
  • Experience in working with older adults is preferred
