What You'll Do:

Ensure residents are safely transported by planning efficient routes and providing door-to-door service
Make sure residents are received safely by staff or family upon arrival
Act as an ambassador of Wittenberg Village by maintaining courteous and professional behavior
Enhance the organization’s reputation through excellent service
Assist residents in getting into and out of the vehicle
Communicate any special information, directions, or requests concerning residents' needs to team members or their families

What You'll Need:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write legibly in English
Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and operating manuals
Valid driver's license required
1 year of bus driving experience required
Experience working with older adults preferred
