How you will make an impact:
Join our team as a Security Guard and play a crucial role in the safety of our community. As a Security Guard, you will respond immediately to all 911 calls and direct emergency personnel while maintaining crowd control. You will maintain effective logs and reports to detail events at The Lutheran Home and conduct investigations into incidents such as criminal activity, theft or threatening behaviors on campus. Promote positive interpersonal relationships with your team members, The Lutheran Home residents and their visitors through your professional image and welcoming attitude.
Schedule: This is a full-time position working 3:30PM- 11:30PM, Tuesday- Saturday.
What you will need:
- Prior security experience preferred
- Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write legibly in English
- Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and operating manuals
- Possess a valid driver's license, required
- Successful completion of the 20-hour Security Training Program conducted by a local Community College preferred
