RN - Registered Nurse
Pleasant View Skilled Nursing Community in Ottawa is hiring PRN RNs for 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. $43.00/hour, plus shift differential. PRN, on-call, minimum 4 shifts per month including 1 weekend shift per month.
As the RN on shift, you're the senior clinical decision-maker on the floor at Pleasant View, which means residents and their families are counting on your judgment when things change fast. You'll lead care planning, delegate and oversee LPNs and CNAs, and serve as charge nurse for your shift.
What you'll do
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including monitoring health status and responding to changes in condition
- Complete resident assessments and lead individualized care planning
- Administer medications and treatments, and delegate and oversee tasks performed by LPNs and CNAs on your unit
- Communicate condition changes to the on-call provider and to residents' families
- Serve as charge nurse for your shift, coordinating care across the floor
What you'll need
Required:
- Active Illinois RN license
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting

Schedule
