What You'll Do:

Collaborate with the Director and staff to develop and implement childcare programs
Promote and maintain a Christian, intergenerational environment that supports individual learning and development
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for children, staff, and visitors
Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling
Conduct tours for prospective families and visitors
Monitor classroom activities to support quality and compliance
Support curriculum development and implementation
Uphold and model Servanthood Leadership values in all interactions and responsibilities

What You'll Need:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Experience working in a childcare setting is required
Experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to staff is required.
Must meet all state DCFS qualification requirements for a licensed Child Care facility
- Level 1 Director Credential or Director qualified by DCFS
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood is preferred
3+ years of leadership experience is preferred

1. I have at least an associate degree in child development or early childhood education.
2. I have at least 64 semester hours (or 96 quarter hours) of college credit in any field, including a minimum of 21 semester hours (or 31.5 quarter hours) in child development, early childhood education, or early childhood special education, and I meet at least one of the following:
-I hold a Gateways Level I Illinois Director Credential.
-I have completed 3 semester hours in child care administration, leadership, or management.
-I have 3 points of approved training in child care administration, leadership, or management.*
