How you will make an impact:
As The Director of Nursing, you will significantly impact the community by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating the healthcare services provided by professional and auxiliary nursing staff, as well as other healthcare disciplines like physical and occupational therapy. By ensuring that these services are delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, the Director of Nursing fosters an environment of compliance and excellence in resident care. This strategic oversight not only enhances the quality of care but also supports the overall well-being of residents, ensuring that their needs are met comprehensively and professionally.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with occasional night and weekend hours.
What you will need:
- Current Illinois Registered Nursing license required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care or geriatric care of training
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures relate to staff and organization operations
- Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
- Experience working with people in diverse backgrounds
- Computer-adept in EHR and Microsoft Office Suite
